McGriff: STAR CITY — Megan Margurette Dutton and Joshua Dale McGriff were married on Sept. 21, 2013, on the bride’s family farm.

The bride is the daughter of Kip and Tammy Dutton of Star City. Her grandparents are Larry and Katie Dutton of Star City, Maxine Owens of Little Rock, formerly of Pine Bluff, and the late W. T. Owens.

The groom is the son of Dale and Candy McGriff of Star City. His grandparents are Calvin and Juanita McGriff of Star City, Kathy Taylor of Star City, and Coy Buford of Stephens, Ark.

The bride was escorted by her father and wore a Blu by Mori Lee ivory strapless sweetheart gown of Alencon Lace over English net, with a fitted ruched bodice featuring covered buttons. The natural waist of the gown was enhanced with a beaded sash of pearls, rhinestones, crystals, and rocals. The A-line skirt featured a scalloped lace hem with a chapel train. The cathedral length veil of illusion was accented with pearls, sequins, and seed beads.

The bride carried a gathered bouquet of two toned circus roses, green chrysanthemums, tangerine pin cushion protea, fuchsia pink alstromeria lilies accented with sweetheart roses in pink, royal purple statice and a cascade of sage green, hanging amaranthus. The bouquet was wrapped with the brim of her grandfather’s beloved straw hat as her "something old."

The matron of honor was Ashley Dreher Gardner. The bridesmaids were Ashleigh Green Bishop, cousin of the bride, Whitney Bowlin Dutton, sister-in-law of the bride, Kami McGriff McBryde, sister of the groom, Lindsey Strong Ables, Caitlin Coleman, and Carissa Green Stricklin. The bridesmaids carried similar bouquets of matching flowers to accent the eggplant colored deep v-necked chiffon gowns of Bill Levkoff.

The best man was Dale McGriff, father of the groom. Shaun Carter, Jared Dutton, brother of the bride, Greg McBryde, brother-in-law of the groom, Justin Fowler, Robert Morrison, and Scotty Weast all were the groomsmen.

The flower girls were Mollie Dutton, Maci Fowler, Claire Haley, Carson Haley and Elizabeth Dutton. Kolby and Dillon McBryde, nephews of the groom, were the carriers of the sign "Uncle Josh Here Comes Aunt Meg."

Music for the wedding was provided by Lindsey Fowler Weast and Gill Dreher. Bro. Paul Pickens was the officiant. The reception was held under a white tent with music provided by All Occasions DJ of Sherwood.

After a honeymoon to Big Cedar Lodge in Branson, Mo., the couple is making their home in Star City.
