Special to The Commercial
A benefit concert for the family of missing Alabama teen Natalee Holloway is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Monday at First Presbyterian Church, 717 W. 32nd Ave.
Holloway has been missing on the island of Aruba since May 30 and intensive efforts to solve the mystery of her disappearance have been unsuccessful.
Natalee is the granddaughter of Pine Bluff resident, Ann Reynolds. Natalee's mother, Beth Holloway Twitty, is a 1978 graduate of Pine Bluff High School.
Music will be provided by Nashville recording artists, "Downhere," a Christian rock group from Canada.
According to event organizer, Bruce Roberts, Twitty has indicated she will attend the benefit. The concert is free, Roberts said, but donations will be accepted to help offset expenses incurred by the family as they continue the search for Natalee.
Details: Call (870) 718-3673.
