WHITE HALL DEFEATS SEABROOK IN TOURNEY

HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE — In a Pine Bluff-area showdown in Hot Springs Village, the Pine Bluff Seabrook 14-year-old All-Stars suffered a 6-3 loss to the White Hall All-Stars Saturday afternoon in the Junior Babe Ruth District Tournament.

Seabrook moves into the losers’ bracket with the loss, and will face Sheridan today at 10 a.m. The matchup was initially scheduled for Saturday, but the game was postponed due to heavy rain in Hot Springs Village. If Seabrook wins today, they advance and play at 5 p.m. Their opponent, however, was not determined Saturday due to the rain.

White Hall remains in the winners’ bracket and will take on Malvern today at 3 p.m. Hunter Brown got the win for White Hall, while Dylan James and Daniel Risinger supplied the hitting, going 2-for-4 and 2-for-3, respectively.

Nicolas Anderson took the loss for Seabrook. Wyatt Jones added a hit and drove in two of Seabrook’s three runs. Torey Deshazier added another RBI and a double.
