UAPB COACH’S SHOW TO AIR ON CW NETWORK

SPECIAL TO THE COMMERCIAL

Arkansas-Pine Bluff coach Monte Coleman will have a highlight show every Saturday afternoon at 12:30 p.m. on the CW Network.

During the half-hour broadcast, Coleman will offer his insights into the Golden Lion football program. The show will also feature player profiles, highlights of the previous week's game and his thoughts about UAPB's next opponent.

Coleman was named head coach last November after serving as defensive coordinator for two seasons. He played 16 seasons in the NFL for the Washington Redskins and won three Super Bowls as a player.

Last season, the Redskins selected Coleman as one of the “Top 22” players in the franchise's history. He is also a member of the Arkansas Sports Hall of Fame and the Central Arkansas Sports Hall of Fame. Additionally, in 1999 Coleman was selected by Sports Illustrated as one of the top 50 Athletes in Arkansas' sports history.

The Golden Lion Report with Monte Coleman will be hosted by veteran broadcaster Floyd Donald.

Donald covered the Redskins, from time to time, while serving as a general assignment reporter for WJLA-TV and WHUR-FM radio in Washington, D.C.

The CW Network was formerly known as UPN 38 (cable channel 5 in Pine Bluff).

The first program airs at 12:30 p.m. today. UAPB hosts Arkansas-Monticello at Golden Lion Stadium today at 6 p.m.
