Kelly Shelton hold on to one of the tie down lines as the backhoe pulls the light display into place at the Enchanted Land of Lights and Legends Tuesday morning in Regional Park. |
Greg Gustek, executive director of the Pine Bluff Festival Association, said that 98 percent of the displays are already up.
The switch to turn on the exhibit will be flipped Nov. 18 at 6 p.m. and will include more than 145 displays. That night, the event will be kicked off by the Dollarway High School Band leading a group of walkers as well as runners through a trail during Randy’s Reindeer Run.
Each night the drive through lighting display, which is the largest in the state, will be open until 9 p.m., and is free and open to the public, however donations will be accepted.
Enchanted Land of Lights and Legends will continue until Dec. 31, Gustek said.
