VETERANS DAY PARADE COMING TO PB

A Veteran’s Day Parade has been scheduled to celebrate the contributions of those who have given so much, both past and present and part, a spokesman said.

The parade will be held Nov. 11 on Main Street in downtown Pine Bluff. The route will begin at the Jefferson County Courthouse at 10 a.m. and end at the Pine Bluff Civic Center. A short ceremony and prayer vigil will follow.

The prayer will be for troops overseas and there will be information tables set up by local armed forces recruitment offices as well as the Jefferson County Veterans Service office.
