A Homecoming parade was staged today by students of the A.M. & N. College celebrating Homecoming for that institution. In the parade was about 20 decorated cars that paraded through the city.
This afternoon, the undefeated Lions, whipped together by Coach Hozzard, will put his team on the field against Wiley College, also undefeated.

TEANECK, N.J. — Comedienne Martha Raye, 42, a veteran of five trips to the altar, has applied for a marriage license with Robert O’Shea, her former bodyguard. O’Shea, 31, whose first wife got a divorce Oct. 14 on grounds of cruelty, was a policeman in Westport, Conn., while Miss Raye was living there.
HONOLULU — A sign in a restaurant window on Waikiki Beach: “Our food is lousy, but the most beautiful girls in Waikiki eat here.”

The Baptist Student Union at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff will feature Gardenia Ambler and MGN Productions during Staley Religious Drama Week.
The activities, which are part of the Staley Distinguished Christian Scholar Lecture Program, will include seminars at 4:30 p.m. Monday through Wednesday with public presentations at 7 p.m. each evening.
Peabo Bryson, Stacey Lattisaw and Denise Lasalle will present a concert at the Pine Bluff Convention Center tonight at 8 p.m.
