Johnnie Martin
ENGLAND — Johnnie B. Martin, 87, of England, went to be with her Lord on Nov. 11, 2008.
She was born on Sept. 18, 1921, in Chidester, Ark., the daughter of the late Johnie W. and Georgia Thompson Hughes.
She was a homemaker and a beautician. She was a member of Tomberlin Baptist Church.
She was also preceded in death by her husband.
She is survived by her son A.B. Martin and his wife, Etta; five granddaughters, Donna Martin Sims of Pine Bluff, Ark., Cynthia Martin Jackson of Detroit, Mich., Gina Martin Carroll of Pine Bluff, Ark., Tangelyn Martin Black of Milwaukee, Wis., and Stefanie Martin King of Pine Bluff, Ark.; two great-grandsons, Martin C. Jackson of Detroit, Mich., and Cedric Black Jr. of Milwaukee, Wis.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, 2008, at Tomberlin Baptist Church, with Rev. Hershel Lovelace officiating.

Betty Smith
HERMITAGE — Betty Wayne Smith, 71, of Hermitage died Monday at McKinney Health Center at McKinney, Texas.
She was born April 15, 1937, at Warren, a daughter of the late Powers Graham and Verna Doggett Graham.
Survivors include one daughter, Gwendy Mann of Anna, Texas; two stepsons, Eddie Smith of McKinney and Sam Smith of Hilo; one brother, Jerry Graham of Story; one sister, Margaret Lewis of Ashdown; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. today at Landmark Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will be in Gravelridge Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home of Warren.
Robert Moseley
MCGEHEE — Robert Allen “Bobby” Moseley, 40, of McGehee died Tuesday at Pine Bluff.
He was born Nov. 18, 1967, at Providence, R.I., a son of Marilyn Paiva Moseley of Star City and the late Clyde Deryl Moseley.
Survivors: four brothers, Kyle Moseley and Johnny Moseley, both of Pine Bluff, D.L. Moseley of Star City and Bernie Moseley of Benton; one sister, Holly Main of Star City; and his grandfather, Clyde Moseley of New Edinburg.
Funeral services: 3:30 p.m. today at Frazer’s Funeral Home at Warren. Burial: Shady Grove Cemetery near New Edinburg.
Visitation: 2 p.m. until time of service today.
Vera Rial
MCGEHEE — Vera Florentine Rial, 97, of McGehee died Tuesday at McGehee-Desha County Hospital at McGehee.
She was born Aug. 15, 1911, at Monticello.
She was a homemaker and member of First Baptist Church of McGehee.
Survivors include two sons, Larry Rial of McGehee and Hamilton Rial Jr. of Dallas; one sister, Lois Noce of Cape Girardeau, Mo.; 11 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were held Wednesday in McGehee Cemetery with the Rev. Ed Balducci officiating. Arrangements were by Griffin Funeral Service of McGehee.
Rita Bennett
REDFIELD — Rita Brewer Bennett, 52, of Redfield died Tuesday.
She was a daughter of Helen Lawrence Brewer.
Other survivors include her husband, Gordon Bennett; one son, Chris Bennett; three daughters, Amanda Cotton, Reagan Haynes and Allison Danielle Cotton; three sisters, Martha Vanlandingham, Diane Phillips and Linda Cummings; and five grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in New Hope Cemetery. Arrangements are by Memorial Gardens Funeral Home of Sheridan.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Deontrae Smith
STUTTGART — Deontrae Smith, 24, of Stuttgart died Thursday.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Anointed House of Prayer at Stuttgart. Arrangements are by Richardson Memorial Funeral Home at Stuttgart.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Henryetta Conway
FLINT, Mich. — Henryetta Thomas Conway of Flint, Mich., formerly of Pine Bluff, died Sunday.
She was born March 9, 1940, to Charles Henry and I.V. Thomas.
Before moving to Flint in 1957, she was a member of First Trinity Church of God in Christ at Pine Bluff.
Survivors include her husband, George Conway; one son, George Conway Jr. of Atlanta; one sister, Dorothy Lee of Pine Bluff; and one grandchild.
Funeral arrangements are by Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home at Flint.
