Ebony Brothers
Mrs. Ebony Renee Brothers, 22, of Pine Bluff died Saturday, Nov. 8, 2008.
She was born in Pine Bluff to Henry Brothers and Jeanette Welch, both of Pine Bluff.
Her survivors include daughter, Kameria Brothers; brothers, Maurice Woods and Mack Brothers, all of Pine Bluff; sisters, Pamela Woods of Little Rock, Shannon Brothers of Mesquite, Texas, Shavonne Brothers and Janquel Williams; stepfather, Charles Welch, all of Pine Bluff.
Her services will be Saturday, Nov. 15, 2008, at Victory Faith COGIC by Bishop K.D. Mixon at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Visitation is today from 6-7:30 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home of Pine Bluff.
Her body will lie in state at the church from 10:15 a.m. until time of service.
The family will be at 320 Steve Drive, Pine Bluff, Ark.
Marchello Jenkins
Marchello Lamar Jenkins, 24, of Pine Bluff died Sunday, Nov. 9, 2008.
He was born Aug. 12, 1984, at Little Rock, the son of Celeste Jenkins-Johnson of Pine Bluff.
He was a 2001 graduate of Watson Chapel High School and served in the United States Marines from 2002-06.
He was employed with the United States Postal Service as a mail carrier and a member of the United States Naval Reserve.
He was preceded in death by his younger sister, Tanesha Jenkins; and his maternal grandfather, Robert Jenkins II; two maternal aunts and two maternal uncles.
Other survivors include his stepfather, Ivory Johnson; brother, Matthew Jenkins; grandmother, Nannie Jenkins; three uncles and two aunts.
Visitation will be from 4 until 7 p.m. today at the P.K. Miller Mortuary.
Graveside services will be at the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens Saturday, Nov. 15, 2008, at 2 p.m. with Rev. G.L. Ford officiating. Services entrusted to the P.K. Miller Mortuary.
Lee Marshall
Lee Herman Marshall, 71, of Pine Bluff died Nov. 5 at JRMC.
He was born Dec. 8, 1936, at Sherrill, a son of the late Charlie Marshall and Mary Graves Marshall.
Survivors: wife, Ernestine Marshall; daughter, Christie Wilson of Pine Bluff; brother, Jimmy Marshall of Pine Bluff; sisters, Bertha Halliburton of Little Rock, Berthola Perry and Lavearn Thomas, both of Pine Bluff; grandchild, Lecole Wilson of Pine Bluff.
Funeral services: 11 a.m. Saturday at Rose Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. G.L. Ford officiating. Burial: Henson Memorial Garden by Henson Mortuary.
Visitation will be Friday afternoon from 5 to 7 p.m. at the mortuary.
The body will be at the church from 10 a.m. until funeral time.
The family will be at 2809 W. 40th Ave.
Milagros Martinez
Milagros Velazquez Martinez was born and died Nov. 7 at St. Vincent Infirmary Medical Center at Little Rock.
She was the daughter of Graciela Velazquez and Rafael Martinez Jr., both of Pine Bluff.
Other survivors include her grandparents, Rebecca Vietla, Rafael Martinez Sr., Berta Alarecon and Pedro Velazquez.
Funeral Mass will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Peter’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Donald Murrin officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery by Ralph Robinson & Son Funeral Directors.
Visitation will be from 7-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Raymond McCray
Raymond Charles McCray, 47, of Pine Bluff died Sunday at home.
He was born Feb. 28, 1961, at Sherrill, a son of Marie McCray Williams of Pine Bluff and the late R.C. McCray.
Survivors: son, Raymond Haynie of Pine Bluff; four brothers, Alvin McCray of Kansas City, Mo., and Victor McCray, Rickey McCray and Stanley McCray, all of Pine Bluff; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services: 2 p.m. Saturday at Henson Mortuary Chapel with the Rev. Jerry Tolbert officiating. Burial: Forest Lawn Memorial Garden.
Visitation will be from 7:30-8:30 p.m. today at the mortuary.

Eddie Bailey Sr.
ALTHEIMER — Mr. Eddie Bailey Sr. of Altheimer died Nov. 3 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center.
He was born May 25, 1958, to the late Rozell and Lula Bailey.
Rozell Bailey Jr. and Dorise Bailey preceded him in death.
Survivors: wife, Louise Bailey of Pine Bluff; sons, Eddie Bailey Jr. of Dayton Beach, Fla., Jermaine Bailey of Altheimer, Calvin Allen Jr. of Altheimer; daughter, Roberta Allen of Pine Bluff; brothers, James Bailey of Altheimer, Willie Bailey of Wisconsin; sister, Pearlie Bailey of Little Rock, Ruthie Higgins of Little Rock, Joyce Williams of Altheimer; and one grandchild.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Funeral service will be Saturday, Nov. 15 at 11 a.m. at Freedom Missionary Baptist Church in Altheimer.
The body will lie in state from 10 a.m. until time of service.
Burial will be in Altheimer Community Cemetery by Christian Way Funeral Home of Pine Bluff.
Alyne May
MCGEHEE — Alyne H. May, 85, of McGehee died Wednesday at Pine Bluff.
She was born June 28, 1923, at Lucan, Miss., a daughter of the late William P. Rushing and Gladys Wooten Rushing.
Survivors include one son, Fred A. Henry Sr. of Cleveland, Miss.; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church at McGehee with Ed Balducci officiating. Burial will be in McGehee Cemetery by Griffin Funeral Service of McGehee.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Robert Moseley
MCGEHEE — Robert Allen “Bobby” Moseley, 40, of McGehee died Tuesday at Pine Bluff.
He was born Nov. 18, 1967, at Providence, R.I., a son of Marilyn Paiva Moseley of Star City and the late Clyde Deryl Moseley.
Survivors: wife, Tammy Wynne Moseley; four brothers, Kyle Moseley and Johnny Moseley, both of Pine Bluff, D.L. Moseley of Star City and Bernie Moseley of Benton; one sister, Holly Main of Star City; and his grandfather, Clyde Moseley of New Edinburg.
Funeral services were held Thursday at Frazer’s Funeral Home at Warren. Burial was in Shady Grove Cemetery near New Edinburg.
Maureen Carson
STAR CITY — Maureen Carson, 62, of Star City died Wednesday.
She was born Oct. 3, 1946, at Fordyce, a daughter of Margret Nutt Drummond of Star City and the late Clifton Cornelius Drummond.
Other survivors include one son, Clifton Drummond Austin of Star City; three sisters, Roberta Drummond and Marsha Eagle, both of Star City, and Mary Neal Dixon of Kernersville, N.C.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fay Leroy Carson.
Per the family’s request, no services will be held. Arrangements are by Griffin Funeral Service at Star City.
Louie Briant
WARREN — Louie Cleveland Briant, 83, of Warren died Wednesday at Wagnon Place Nursing Home.
He was born June 30, 1925, at New Edinburg, a son of the late Walter Cleveland Briant and Mattie Thompson Briant.
Survivors include one son, Cleve Briant of Warren; two daughters, Barbara Grider of Warren and Wanda Durham of Alexander; one brother, Charles Ray Briant of Rowell; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Frazer’s Funeral Home at Warren. Burial will be in Moseley Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
John Roper
WHITE HALL — John Patrick Roper, 43, of White Hall died Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2008, at his home.
He was born Sept. 19, 1965, in Yuma, Ariz., to Dois W. and Peggy Chance Roper.
He was a 1983 graduate of Dollarway High School and attended University of Arkansas at Monticello. John owned and operated Jack’s Cleaning Service and was a member of Family Church. He was a Ham operator and was an IICRC Certified Carpet Cleaning Technician.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, Bobbie Sue Smith, William C. and Nellie Mae Roper.
He is survived by his wife, Cathy Campbell Roper, whom he married May 3, 1991; two sons, Kohlten Wayne Roper and Jacob Patrick Roper of White Hall; a daughter, Campbell Chance Roper of White Hall; his parents, Dois and Peggy Chance Roper of White Hall; a brother, Bobby J. (Darlene) Roper of Arlington, Texas.
Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Family Church.
Funeral arrangements are by Cranford Funeral Home of White Hall.
The family will be at their home in White Hall.
