SEARK SCHOOL PLANS COLLEGE WEEK

Southeast Arkansas College in collaboration with the Arkansas Department of Higher Education will promote “Say Go College” Week beginning Feb. 16 and culminating with “College Goal Sunday” Feb. 22.

“SEARK College Go Wednesday,” will take place Feb. 18. Prospective students may visit SEARK from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. for guidance in planning for college. A campus tour will be available from 4 to 5 p.m.

“This event is an opportunity for SEARK College to show off its programs and for high school students to gather information about programs and services that will help them in the college decision making process,” said Barbara Dunn, director of admissions.

Representatives from the Office of Admissions, Financial Aid, Student Support Services, Career Center, and the Bookstore will available to provide guidance and answer any questions.

“College Goal Sunday,” a statewide program that provides college bound students and their parents with free assistance in completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

This program is scheduled for Feb. 22 from 2 to 4 p.m. in the McGeorge Hall- Seminar Room.
