A hailstorm that smashed windows of cars and houses and knocked limbs and leaves from trees at White Hall and northern Pine Bluff on Saturday night had insurance agents, automobile glass companies, roofers and other similar service representatives scrambling to answer a hailstorm of telephone calls this morning.

“I’m about to have a nervous breakdown,” said Dale Dixon of Dale Dixon Insurance Company at 2526 E. Harding Avenue.

Some houses were completely flooded after hail stones knocked holes in the roofs.

“I don’t see how in the world they would ever be able to fix (some of them),” Dixon said.
