Estella Farver

Mrs. Estella Rosiebud Farver, 89 of Pine Bluff, died Sunday. She was born in Helena to the late Jeff and Almeida Jordan.

Survivors: sons, Sylvester Farver and Walter Farver both of Pine Bluff, Carl Farver and Jessie Farver both of Chicago; daughters, Bobbie Tate and Everlena Farver both of Chicago, Estella Farver-Bell of New York City, Ethel Farver of Manchester, Conn., Catherine Farver and Christine Farver both of Hartford, Conn.; sister, Everlena Joplin of Washington, D.C.; 29 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great grandchildren.

Her services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Greater Mt. Calvary Baptist Church by Reverend Jimmy L. Fisher Sr. Burial will be in Cypress Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Monday from 5:30 p.m.-7 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home of Pine Bluff.

The body will lie in state at the church from 1:15 p.m. until the time of service.

The family will be at 1108 South Orange Street, Pine Bluff.

Cora Gordon

DEWITT — Cora Mae Dyce Gordon, 83, of Dewitt died Thursday at Baptist Hospital at Little Rock.

She was a member of New Life Church at Dewitt.

Survivors include a daughter, Clarice Tolbert of Dewitt; two sons, Jimmy Dyce of Holly Grove and Toney Dyce of West Helena; 27 grandchildren; and many great and great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Monday at New Life Church. Burial will be at Lone Tree Cemetery at Stuttgart by McKinzie Funeral Home.

Garey Walker

DUMAS—Mrs. Garey Terry Walker, 87 of Dumas, died May 1. She was born in Reedville to the late Ivano and Corine Newman.

Survivors: sons, Maurice Terry of Liberal, Kan., Elder Ivanhoe Terry of Lake Charles, La., Major Terry of Dumas, Ernest Terry of Souix Fall, S.D. and Clarence Terry of Spring, Texas; daughters, Lundell Bell and Nadalyn Berry both of Dumas, Lois Terry and Doris Terry both of Alexandria, Va., Joann Hagood of Dumas and Restee Wherry of Sioux Falls, S.D.; sisters, Doris Bess of Gould and Charlotte Newman of Dumas; 25 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great-grandchildren.

Her service was held Saturday at Holy Temple COGIC in Dumas by Supt. Robert Robinson.

Mrs. Walker was buried at Curtis Hall Cemetery at Pickens.

James Felter

WARREN—James Clinton Felter, 82 of Warren, died Friday at St. Vincent’s Hospital at Little Rock. He was born August 5, 1926, at Woodville, Miss., a son of the late Charlie Felter and Elizabeth Wisner Felter.

Survivors: wife, Juanita Anderson Felter of Warren, whom he married February 25, 1950; daughter, Sharon Bridwell and spouse, Charles Bridwell of Warren; and two grandchildren, Clint Bridwell and Drake Bridwell, both of Warren.

Funeral services: Tuesday at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church. Burial: Greenlawn Memorial Park at Natchez, Miss. by Frazer’s Funeral Home.

Mr.Willie Harris, 84 of Pine Bluff, died Wednesday. His service will be Monday at Brown Funeral Home of Pine Bluff at 2 p.m. Burial will be at Forrest Lawn Cemetery.
