Frankie Stoudamire
Mrs. Frankie Brown Stoudamire, 86, of Pine Bluff died Monday, May 11, 2009.
She was born in Sherrill to the late Levi Brown and Mary Johnson.
She was a Worthy Matron of the Ruth Chapter No. 5, Order of the Eastern Stars. She was on the mother board and a member of missionary society at Mount Nebo Baptist Church.
Her survivors include sons, Charles Brown-Woolfolk and Ronnie Brown of Benton Harbor, Mich., Claudie Horton of Pine Bluff; stepson, Frank Stoudamire of Philadelphia, Pa.; daughter, Gloria Stoudamire of Flint, Mich.; stepdaughter, Ora Peterson of Seattle, Wash.; brothers, Nathaniel Brown of Gardenia, Calif., and Alphonso Brown; sisters, Cardelia White, both of Boynton, Okla., and Loretha Smith of Las Vegas, Nev.; eight grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Her services will be Saturday, May 16, 2009, at Mount Nebo Baptist Church by Rev. Larry Battles at 2:30 p.m. Burial will be in Cedar Grove section of Graceland Cemetery.
Visitation will be today from 4-7 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home of Pine Bluff.
The body will lie in state at the church from 1:45 p.m. until time of service.
The family will be at 101 S. Juniper St., Pine Bluff, Ark.
Imie Hall
ALTHEIMER — Imie Lee Gary-Hall was born Feb. 9, 1948, at Altheimer, Ark., to the late Rosevelt Gary and Charlie Lee Adway-Williams.
She attended the Altheimer public schools. She attended the Martin High School.
She worked several years at the Delta Nursing Home at England, Ark.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie Hall Sr.; and a sister, Rosie Lee Gary.
She is survived by her sons, Jimmie Hall Jr. of Altheimer, Ark., and Marvin Hall of Grand Prairie, Texas; three brothers, Henry Williams of Shreveport, La., James Williams of Altheimer, Ark., and Calvin Williams of Lennox, Calif.; five sisters, Loretta Gray, Rosemay Gary and Diane Gary, all of Chicago, Ill., Essie Robertson and Barbara Gray, both of Altheimer, Ark.; eight grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, 510 E. Second, Altheimer. Rev. Fred Johnson is the officiant. Interment is at the Altheimer Cemetery.
Visitation is from 5 until 7 p.m. at the mortuary on Friday. Mrs. Hall will lie in repose at the church from 12 until time of service Saturday.

Bobby White
EAST END — Bobby Joe White, 69, of East End died Wednesday at Arkansas Hospice at Little Rock.
Survivors include his wife, Gloria Gibbs White; son, Jeff White of East End; daughter, Debbie Jamison of East End; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home of Sheridan. Burial will be in Black Cemetery at Rison.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Bill Fuller
HOT SPRINGS — Bill Fuller, age 74, of Hot Springs, died Wednesday, May 13, 2009.
Born Dec. 18, 1934, at Princeton (Dallas County), Ark., he was a son of the late Edwin Alexander Fuller Sr. and Eloise Mann Fuller.
He graduated from Sheridan High School in 1953, where he was president of his class. He attended Henderson State College and was a staff sergeant E-6 in the National Guard Unit at Sheridan, serving for 31 years.
He began his career in the retail business at an early age, working in The Family Store at Sheridan. He moved to Pine Bluff in the 1950s and started working for Levine’s Department Store. He began working for Blass Department Store when the Pine Bluff store was opened, and remained with the company through the transitions from Blass, to Pfeiffer-Blass, and finally to Dillard’s. He served as assistant manager in the Pine Bluff store, and was promoted in 1973 to store manager at Hot Springs. He retired in 2005.
Survivors include his wife, Rosemary Nutt Fuller, whom he married on March 12, 1967, at Pine Bluff; a son, Robert Sidney Fuller of Fayetteville; a brother, Edwin A. Fuller Jr. of Pine Bluff; a sister, Sarah Fuller Mann of Siloam Springs; and nieces and nephews.
Funerals services will be Saturday, 10:30 a.m. at Oaklawn United Methodist Church, with graveside services at 3 p.m. in Princeton Cemetery. Arrangements are by Fuller Funeral Services of Pine Bluff.
Visitation will be today from 5-8 p.m. at Oaklawn United Methodist Church.

Harold Osburn
MABELVALE — Harold Edward Osburn, 51, of Mabelvale died Thursday.
He was a son of Sara Osburn and the late Earnest Osburn.
Other survivors include three brothers, Ralph Osburn, Bobby Osburn and Danny Osburn; five sisters, Sylvia Freeman, Kathryn Pate, Lavern Gilbert, Linda Eslick and Mary Kling of Grapevine.
He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Raymond Osburn, Tim Osburn and Billy Osburn; one sister, Margie Wedge.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Philadelphia Cemetery at Prattsville with the Rev. Doug Scott officiating. Arrangements are by Buie Funeral Home of Sheridan.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Sheila Ramos
MONTICELLO — Sheila Diane Potter Ramos, 6 weeks, daughter of Juan Ramos and Corenna Potter Ramos, passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2009, at UAMS in Little Rock.
She was born March 27, 2009, at Little Rock.
Other survivors include two brothers, Raydon Ramos of Warren and Oscar Ramos of Texas; two sisters, Lillie Potter of Little Rock and Windy Ramos of Texas; grandparents, Juni Richardson of Little Rock and Allen Potter of Collins, Nieves Garcia and Cirillo Ramos, both of Mexico; A.D. and Joy Potter of Collins.
Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Saturday at Cominto Baptist Church. Burial in Rash Cemetery by Stephenson-Dearman.
Linna Jones
STAR CITY — Linna Elouise Johnson Jones, 83, of Star City died Wednesday.
She was born Nov. 25, 1925, at Casa.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors include three sons, Neal Jones and Wayland Jones, both of Gould, and Wendell Jones; one sister, Margueritte Ward of Eudora; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William A. Jones.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today in Finch Cemetery at Rose Creek by Griffin Funeral Home of Dumas.
Cherlyn McWhorter
STAR CITY — Cherlyn Baugh McWhorter, 56, of Star City died Wednesday at Pine Bluff.
She was born July 21, 1952, at Star City, a daughter of Elizabeth Thomas Baugh and the late Marion Francis Baugh.
Other survivors include one son, Robert L. Baugh of Star City; and two brothers, Jimmy Baugh and Danny Baugh, both of Star City.
Funeral services will be at 4:30 p.m. Saturday at Griffin Funeral Services at Star City. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery at Yorktown.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Robert Walker
STUTTGART — Robert “Bobby” Walker was born July 4, 1942, to the late Everlena Martin Wilson and Wiley Walker. He attended Rosenwald High School, and later moved to California. He later moved to Milwaukee, Wis., where he worked in various positions as supervisor and butcher. Bobby served two years in the U.S. Army following completion of High School.
Robert “Bobby” Walker made his transition from the earth realm to the Heavenly Kingdom on Monday, May 11, 2009.
On July 22, 2007, he was united in holy matrimony to Eleanor Dee Johnson, and he relocated to Stuttgart, Ark. He joined AHOP Ministries, where he was a dedicated and faithful member. Bobby enjoyed fishing, and bowling. He was a kind and appreciative person, who was encouraging to others.
Both of his parents preceded him in death, his daughter, Vanielle Walker; his brothers, Johnny Lee Wilson, Willie Wilson, Wiley Walker Jr.; and sister, Annie Mae Ice, also preceded him in death.
Those left to cherish is memories are his wife, Eleanor Walker; his sons, Phillip, Oscar, Rex; his daughters, Eleanor, Phyllis, Doris, Necole, and Renea; his stepsons, Victor and Richard Johnson; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; his siblings, Loriss Wilson, Booker T. Wilson, Roy Wilson, James Wilson, and Linda Thomas; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Also, a special friend , Mama Betsy.
Visitation will be at the funeral home Friday May 15, 2009, from 5 til 8 p.m. Funeral services will be Saturday, May 16, 2009, 1 p.m. at Anointed House Of Prayer, 802 N. College St., Stuttgart, Ark., Apostle Victor Johnson pastor.

LaTasha Strong
WARREN — LaTasha Lynn Strong, 32, of Warren died Sunday.
She was born March 24, 1977, at Warren, a daughter of Jeff Strong and Thelma Strong.
She was a nurse and a member of First Baptist Church at Banks.
Other survivors include two children; one sister, Shaunda Cooney; and her grandmother, Mae Dean Davis.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Warren Cultural Center with the Rev. Calvin Warner officiating. Burial will be in Childs Cemetery by Hammons Funeral Home at Warren.
Nettie Ratcliff
WHITE HALL — Nettie Lee Ratcliff, 87, a resident of White Hall, died Wednesday, May 13, 2009, at Jefferson Regional Medical Center.
Born Oct. 4, 1921, in Rowell, she was a daughter of Robert and Corabell Drewery.
Mrs. Ratcliff was reared and received her early education in Rowell, and was a graduate of Rowell High School.
Nettie Lee Drewery married Harvey Henderson Ratcliff in 1939 in Rowell. She was a homemaker and of the Pentecostal faith.
Mrs. Ratcliff was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; one son, Vernand Ratcliff; two daughters, Lucille Ratcliff and Geneva Allen.
Survivors include eight daughters, Evelyn McCuan of Bakersfield, Calif., Helen Laughlin of Scottsboro, Ala., Ruth Elliott and Doris Lemonds of Dumas, Florence Roberts of Texas, Mary Lee Folkerts of Southhaven, Miss., Dorothy Huff of Pine Bluff, Geraldine Ratcliff of Sheridan; three sons, J.D. (Jean) Ratcliff, Darrell Ratcliff, and Loyd Ratcliff of Pine Bluff; two sisters, Shirley Maddox of White Hall and Patricia Hamilton of North Little Rock; 29 grandchildren; 51 great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren.
The visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today, May 15, 2009, at Ralph Robinson & Son Funeral Directors.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 16, 2009, at Lost Creek Cemetery in Sheridan with Rev. Jimmy Earl Brown officiating and under the direction of Ralph Robinson & Son.

Louise Ferguson
LaPORTE, Texas — Louise Campbell Ferguson, 89, of LaPorte, Texas, formerly of New Edinburg, Ark., died Sunday at Cedar Bayou Nursing Home at Baytown, Texas.
She was born March 26, 1920, in Cleveland County, Ark., a daughter of the late Duncan Campbell and Jeannie Hunter Campbell.
Survivors include two sisters, Jean C. Frisby of Warren, Ark., and Clara Holmes of Baton Rouge, La.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Al Ferguson; one brother; and one sister.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Shady Grove Cemetery near New Edinburg. Arrangements are by Frazer’s Funeral Home of Warren.
Bernice Pringles
DETROIT — Missionary Bernice Pringles was born on March 4, 1944, in Pine Bluff, Ark., to Mrs. Annie B. Fowlkes Patillo and Clarence Patillo Sr.
She was the oldest of their 12 children.
She is preceded in death by both her parents and one brother, Jerry.
She’s survived by two aunts, Lenora Shackelford and Gwendolyn Jones; one uncle, Joe Nathan Fowlkes. Also 10 siblings, all residing in Arkansas and one in Michigan, Clarence Patillo Jr. (Gloria), Edward Patillo, Jerry Patillo - deceased (Mary), Mary Gatewood (George), Johnny Patillo (Jackie), Rosemary Sanders, Ella Mae Whitmore (Ricky), Frank Patillo, Teletha Patillo of Michigan, Banita Perkins (Willie - deceased), LaJoyce Banks (Carl - deceased); her first dear cousin (sister) Pearl Knighten; and three girls, Wilma Wenger (David), La Anna Pringles, Johnnetta Pringles-Barry (Alondre); seven grandchildren, Delania, Malachi, Alondre Jr. (A.J.), Kennedy, Lynesia, Alani and David; and a host of nieces and nephews.
On April 8, 2009, she went from labor to reward, home to be with the Lord, finally at peace. She will be greatly missed by all who have known and loved her.
