BONNIE WILSON
Bonnie Ruth Wilson, 82, of Pine Bluff, Ark., died May 29, 2009, at her home.
She was born, Aug. 31, 1926, in Philadelphia, Miss., to Walter Marvin and Eva Lavada Copeland Alexander.
Mrs. Wilson was reared and educated in Philadelphia.
She was a loving wife, mother and a homemaker.
Mrs. Wilson was a member of White Hall United Pentecostal Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, A. L. "Tootsie" Wilson, whom she married on Aug. 9, 1947, in Philadelphia, Miss.; her parents; a brother, George Edward Alexander; and a sister, Biddie Lynn Hardy.
Survivors include, two sons, John Wilson of Pine Bluff, Mark Wilson of Milo, Iowa; four daughters, Joann McCall, Velma Wilson, Alisa Jackson all of White Hall, Vickie Watson of Star City; two brothers, H. L. "Lawson" Alexander of Jackson, Miss., W. M. "Dub" Alexander of Philadelphia, Miss.; a sister, Nannie Tolbert of Philadelphia, Miss.; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday, 6 to 8 p.m., at White Hall United Pentecostal Church.
Services by Ralph Robinson & Son will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 2, 2009, at White Hall United Pentecostal Church, with Rev. A. D. Hill and Rev. Phillip Hedden officiating.
Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Memorials may be made in honor of Mrs. Bonnie Wilson to the donor's local church or other charitable organization.
