BODY RECOVERED NEAR REDFIELD

Jefferson County Sheriff’s deputies pulled the body of an unidentified man from the Arkansas River at Tar Camp in Redfield Tuesday morning.

Coroner Chad Kelley said Deputy Coroner Eric Belcher pronounced the man dead at 12:04 p.m. after deputies were sent to the area just after 10 a.m.

Kelley said the body was sent to the State Medical Examiner’s Office at Little Rock Tuesday afternoon to determine the cause and manner of death as well as the identification of the victim.
