Montyea Smith

SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. — Montyea Montez Smith, 28, of San Bernardino, Calif., died June 11 at Rialto, Calif.

He was born Aug. 16, 1980, at Pine Bluff, a son of Debra Taylor Smith of Gould and the late Robert Smith.

Survivors: sons, Montyea M. Smith Jr., Montoyean Smith, both of Rialto; daughters, Jai Lynn Smith, JaLona Smith, both of San Bernardino; brother, Edward Richardson, Gould, Ark.; sisters, Tanwynika Gooley, LaTasha Taylor, Joy Marie Taylor, Desyree Taylor, Debra K. Taylor, all of Gould; stepfather, Isaiah Smith of Gould; grandparents, Etherlean Taylor of Gould, Edward and Rose Mary Mallett of Chicago.

Funeral services: 11 a.m. Saturday at Morning Star Baptist Church at Gould, Rev. Larry Rogers officiating. Burial: Union Cemetery by Henson Mortuary at Pine Bluff.
