The Pine Bluff Planning Commission on Tuesday expects to consider two Use Permit on Review requests from local businesses, a beauty salon at 47 N. Richard St. and a repair shop at 4814 W. Barraque St.

Edna Lindsey has requested to operate Destiny “The Salon of Purpose” in an existing beauty shop building on an R-1 Residential zone lot.

Canco Inc. has requested to use a parcel of land and building for storage and repair of equipment and vehicles. The property is in an R-1 Residential zone.

Also Tuesday, meeting as the Board of Zoning and Adjustment, planners will consider a request by the Pine Bluff School District to install a sign in the street-side, set-back area of 6th Avenue. The sign would be located in front of the Frank Anthony Administrative Center at 512 S. Pine St.
