JEWEL IRELAND
Funeral services for Jewel Faye Ireland, 52, of Pine Bluff will be held 1 p.m. Monday at Gospel Temple Baptist Church, Rev. James Murry Jr. and Rev. Robert Walters officiating.
Ireland died June 23 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center.
She was born June 7, 1957 in Gethsemane, daughter of the late Dee and Mary Martin Murray.
She was a member of Gospel Temple Baptist Church where she served on the Mission Society and the Usher Board. She was in the Adult Choir and was a kindergarten and primary Sunday School teacher.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Edward Murray Sr., Leroy Murray Sr. and John Murray; grandmother, Rosie Daniels.
Survivors: three daughters, Tecola Roberson of Altheimer, Kenyada Ireland and Natassia Ireland, both of Pine Bluff; eight grandchildren, TyReik, TyRee, Tykia, Kelsie, Kalise Robinson, Markell Taylor, Jayden Moody, all of Pine Bluff, and Je’Niah Cole of Altheimer; six brothers, Leo (Catherine), Murray Sr., Larry (Connie) Murray Sr., Cleo Murray Sr., Steven Hudson, George Hudson Sr., all of Pine Bluff, Tommy (Sherry) Murray of Memphis; five sisters, Betty (Johnny) Hearn, Josephine (Robert) Robinson, Shirley Hudson, all of Pine Bluff, Brenda (Robert) Mackey of Wichita Falls, Tex., Samella Murray of Lakeland, Fla.; God sister, Allisa Virgil of Pine Bluff; several nieces and nephews.
Visitations may be made Sunday 5-7 p.m. at Perry Funeral Home.
The remains will lie in state at the church Monday at noon until the time of the funeral.
Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery by Perry Funeral Home.
