VELMA MARTIN

Velma Bush Martin, 82, of Pine Bluff, died Thursday, June 25. She was born in Tarry to the late Amanda and Ed Bush Sr.

Her survivors include sons, Thomas Martin of Pine Bluff and Carl Martin Jr. of Detroit; daughters, Verne’e McGuire of Potosi, Mo., Valerie Moore and Donna Martin of Pine Bluff, Penney House of Peoria, Ariz. and Stacey Christian of Cordova, Tenn.; brother, Ed Bush, Jr. of California; 15 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Her services will be held Tuesday at St. Peter’s Catholic Church by Father Donald Murrin, SVD at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Forrest Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 4-7 p.m. with Rosary from 5:30-6:30 p.m.

The family will be at 1108 S. Nebraska Street, Pine Bluff.
