Charles Poteet

STAR CITY — Charles “Buddy” Poteet, 66, of Star City died Saturday.

He was born June 30, 1942, in Pine Bluff, to the late Charles Franklin and Dorothy Mae Bolding Poteet.

Survivors include his wife, Wanda Bostian Poteet; one son, Charles David Poteet; three daughters, Janice Wexler, Kristy Poteet, Ragenia Wiley; three brothers, Russell Poteet, Tommy Poteet, Ronnie Poteet; and six grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Holly Springs Missionary Baptist Church at Star City. Burial will be in Holly Springs Cemetery by Griffin Funeral Service of Star City.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
