Betty McClellan

NEW EDINBURG — Betty Geneva Allen McClellan, 74, of New Edinburg, died Sunday at Dallas County Medical Center at Fordyce.

She was born Aug. 20, 1934, at Plumerville, a daughter of the late James Dewey Allen and Arletha Arlee Evans.

Survivors: son, Major McClellan of New Edinburg; daughters, Donna Kae Jones of Lillie, La., Diana Allen of Longview, Texas, Rita Gail Moss of Nacogdoches, Texas, Cathy Lynn McClellan of New Edinburg; brother, Charles Allen of Warren; sister, Mae March of Warren; 14 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services: 10 a.m. Wednesday at Chapel Hill Baptist Church near New Edinburg. Burial: Reaves Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home at Warren.

Visitation: 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
