WILLIE WILLIAMS JR.

ALTHEIMER — Willie (Pops) Williams Jr., 62, of Altheimer died Thursday at Jefferson Regional Medical Center.

He was born Aug. 9, 1946, at Sherrill, a son of the late Willlie Williams Sr. and Ruthie Downs Williams.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth Williams; sons, Kendrick Williams Sr., Joshua Williams, Aaron Williams and Timothy Williams Sr., all of Pine Bluff; daughters, Rita Williams Lewis, Monica Williams, Bridgett Williams Pinkins, all of Pine Bluff, Sonya Williams Reed of Sherrill and Eranesha Cochran of Maumelle; sister, Rutha Aikens of Bellwood, Ill.; brother, Roosevelt Pridgeon of Chicago; 21 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services: 1 p.m. Thursday at Unity Apostolic Church at Altheimer with the Rev. Fred Bennett officiating. Burial: Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pine Bluff by Henson Mortuary.

Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. today at the mortuary.

The body will be at the church from noon until funeral time.

The family will be at 706 Union in Altheimer.

The repast will be at the Altheimer High School cafeteria.
