WILLIAM THROWER SR.

THORNTON — Mr. William Henry Thrower Sr., 68, of Thornton died Sunday, June 28, 2009.

He was born in Fordyce to the late Willie and Vesie Thrower.

Survivors include his wife, Cearlean Thrower of Thornton; sons, William Thrower Jr. of Thornton, Anthony Thrower of Fordyce; brother, Alexander Thrower of Milwaukee, Wis.; sisters, Erma Holly of Malvern and Pearl Parson of St. Louis, Mo.; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Greater St. Mark AME Church in Thornton by Pastor Cheryle Highsmith. Burial will be in White Springs Cemetery in Bearden by Brown-Williams Funeral Home of Fordyce.

Visitation is today from 4-6 p.m. at the funeral home.

The family will be at 308 Russell St., Thornton, Ark.
