Pine Bluff police are asking for help in locating a man who robbed a convenience store on South Olive Street Wednesday morning.
Lt. Bob Rawlinson said a reward may be available for information leading to the identification and arrest of the man who took an undetermined amount of money from the Exxon Family Stop at 5600 S. Olive St. at about 3:20 a.m. Wednesday.
Officer Johnathon Fallis reported that a clerk at the store, Kendra Dorn, said the man, who was wearing a blue hoodie and blue jeans, knocked on the window and after she pushed the button to let him in, he pointed a gun at her, jumped behind a register and went to the office door.
Dorn told police the man also pointed the gun at another employee, Cindy Gullett, then demanded that she open the safe where he took an undetermined amount of cash before jumping back over the counter and leaving the store going south toward Interstate 530.
Fallis reported that Officer Rick Bunting found foot prints in the grass southeast of the store going into the woods, but a search for the suspect was unsuccessful.
