Pine Bluff City Council’s Monday night meeting could be a short one.
The council only has one resolution on the agenda along with four budget adjustments.
The council will meet at 5:30 p.m. in council chambers at City Hall.
The single resolution declares certain structures a nuisance and orders their abatement.
The city council usually handles such a list of properties at its second regular meeting of the month.
The council also will consider passing four budget adjustments including:
Increasing the City Collector’s budget by $15,000 to pay for present and future collection agency bills. The funds could come from District Court Division 2 revenue.
Moving a total of $19,807.53 to building repair and maintenance after heavy May rains damaged both elevators inside the Civic Center. The adjustment has funds coming from insurance and Federal Emergency Management Agency reimbursements.
Paying retiring street department employee Bill Gray $11,641.60 for 80 days of accumulated sick leave. The funds would come from unused street department salaries.
Adding $8,000 to the line item marked office supplies for the District Court Division 2 from unused funds in salaries. The cost partly comes from moving Division 2 offices from the Pine Bluff/Jefferson County Library System’s ground floor to council chambers.
