The Hotel Pines paid 75 cents a pound for Ralph Chadwick’s 365-pound champion Angus calf yesterday in the annual sale of winners in the Southeast Arkansas District Livestock Show.
Chadwick, 17, is a member of the Corinth 4-H Club in Bradley County.
COPENHAGEN, Denmark — A new bovine fashion was started today at a Danish agricultural show — bras for cows.
The technical term is “udder protector.” The garment protects the cows against injuries and inflammation.
The fifth annual Dollarway High School Band Queen Drive will be tomorrow through October 18.
The six students competing are: Kay Lee, Sherry Johnson, Jeanie McDaniel, Sue Ellenburg, Judy Winkelman and Annette Farrell.
