Ruth Clem

Ruth Clem, of Pine Bluff, died Sunday, Oct. 18, 2009, at Jefferson Regional Medical Center.

She was born in Monette, Ark., to Henry Vinson Miller and Miranda Stokes Miller.
Mrs. Clem was reared and received her education in Monette. She was a longtime member of First United Methodist Church of Altheimer.
Ruth was a caring and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Mrs. Clem was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Odell A. Clem; granddaughter, Lisa Taylor Cooley; sister, Arlene Blankenship; and two brothers, Manuel Miller and R.B. Northcott.
Survivors include three daughters, Donna Rector (Kenny) of Hot Springs Village, Barbara Colclasure (Ray) of Pine Bluff and Vicky Stewart (Larry) of Warren; two sons, Jerry Clem (Judy) of Hot Springs and Ronnie Clem (Susan) of Mayflower; and a dear nephew, Charles Blankenship of Tempe, Ariz.; eight grandchildren, Bryan Taylor, Drew Clem, Jonathan Clem, Jarrod Stewart, Justin Stewart, Patrick Colclasure, Lauren Clem and Toni Clem; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2009, in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson & Son with Rev. Fred Arnold officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 5-7 p.m. at Robinson’s.
Her grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
