ATTEMPTED KIDNAPPING, ARMED ROBBERY REPORTED AT PINE BLUFF ARSENAL

An attempted kidnapping and alleged armed robbery occurred at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday in a parking lot outside the Pine Bluff Arsenal, according to a press release from the arsenal.

The release stated the incident had no impact to arsenal employees or operations, although one suspect included a former contract employee.

The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office and the White Hall Police Department were investigating, stated the release.
