The Pine Bluff High School cheerleaders recently led cheers at the “Beat Central” dance Saturday night at the Eden Park Country Club.

The cheerleaders are: Lois Ann Cooper, Sandra Hart, Sue Phillips, Gail Walker, Mary Lou Ashcraft, Catherine Caldwell, Susan Mathews, Rhonda Oglesby and Linda McCaskill.

  • GOULD — College students home for the weekend were: David Gary, Danny Knight, Carl Hackelton, Johnny Gillum, Jean Butcher and Gloria Smith, all students of Arkansas A&M in Monticello; Bettye Ruth Shepherd and Karen Holthoff, both students at Hendrix College in Conway; Buddy Sage, a student at State Teachers in Conway; and, Corkey Holthoff, a student at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville.
