JOHN WAYMACK

KELLER, Texas — John Herman Waymack, Sr., 90, of Keller, Texas, died Friday, November 20, 2009, at home.

He was born Feb. 28, 1919, in Prague, Ark., son of Burt and Era Baugh Waymack.

Mr. Waymack was reared and received his early education in Sheridan. He served in the United States Army during World War II.

He owned and operated Waymack Marine in Pine Bluff for 35 years.

Mr. Waymack was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Homer Waymack and Lewis Adams; and two sisters, Irene Lusby and Jimmie Ashcraft.

Survivors include his wife, Annette Graves Waymack, whom she married June 4, 1948, in Pine Bluff; daughter, Suzy Horner of Keller, Texas; son, John Waymack, Jr., and wife Paula of Rogers, Ark.; and three grandchildren, Casey Horner, Matthew Waymack and Jennifer Waymack-Standerfer and husband Josh.

Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m., Monday, 23, 2009, in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson & Son with Rev. James Conn officiating. Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 4-6 p.m. at Robinson's.
