Ashley Erin Sharum and Colton Lee McCrea, both of Fort Smith, were married Saturday, June 17, 2017, at Christ the King Catholic Church in Fort Smith by Fr. Norman McFall.
The bride is the daughter of David and Vicki Sharum of Fort Smith and the granddaughter of Jim and Pat Pendleton and Ann and the late Maurice Sharum. She is a 2012 graduate of Southside High School and earned a bachelor's degree in hospitality from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. She is employed by the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
The groom is the son of Sheryl Walker and the late Brandi McCrea of Fort Smith and the grandson of the late Geroge and Rena Hopper and the late Arthur and Roberta McCrea. He is a 2011 graduate of Southside High School and earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. He is pursuing his master's degree at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
Morgan Sharum served her sister as maid of honor. Alison Thomas, Emmy Sharum (sister), Olivia Greene, Stacey Butler, Charley Toney, Katie Teeter, Mayra Duenas and Elizabeth Gramlich served as attendants.
Arch Robertson served the groom as best man. Jace McCrea (brother), Charlie Finnwick, Cody Bollock and Stuart Johnson served as groomsmen.
The bride's grandmothers, Pat Pendleton and Ann Sharum, served as flower girls.
The bride's grandfather, Jim Pendleton, and the groom's uncle, Larry Eakins, served as ring bearers.
After a honeymoon trip to Jamaica, the couple reside in Charlotte.
