SHERIDAN - Nancy Heritage Ratterree, 53, of Sheridan, passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2016, at her home.

Mrs. Ratterree was born October 8, 1963, in Pine Bluff, to the late James Eugene Heritage and Alma Ernestine Caldwell Heritage Bailey. She was reared and received her education in Grady. She graduated from nursing school at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff.

Mrs. Ratterree started her career in nursing at Jefferson Regional Medical Center, where she worked for 17 years, Baxter County Hospital, Department of Corrections, Little Rock Allergy and Asthma Clinic, Heart Care Clinic of Southeast Arkansas, and due to health reasons she recently retired from Home Medical, Inc. in Pine Bluff.

She occasionally attended New Life Fellowship Church in Sheridan. Mrs. Ratterree was a very family oriented, caring, giving, and loving person who loved her grandchildren and spending time with them when she possibly could. She also enjoyed reading, painting, crafting, and going to the beach.

Survivors include her husband, Bobby Ratterree; two daughters, Kerra (Sammy) Flemmons and Michelle (William) Friedman, both of Sheridan; five grandchildren, Chase Friedman, Grant Lowrey, Jackson Friedman, Bella Friedman and Brentley Flemmons; three brothers, Larry and Royce Heritage, both of Pine Bluff, and Ricky (Wanda) Heritage of Sheridan; a sister, Gwen (Johnny) Wilson of Sheridan; step-father, William Bailey of Rockport, Missouri; mother-in-law, Margaret Ratterree of Pine Bluff; and her brother-in-law, Steve (Jan) Ratterree of Fort Smith; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Ron Heritage.

The family will receive friends Sunday, December 18, 2016, 2-4 p.m. at Robinson’s.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Monday, December 19, 2016, in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson & Son with Reverend Daniel Taylor officiating. Burial will follow at Cypress Memorial Gardens.

The family will be at the Wilson home, 242 Sycamore Lane in Sheridan (Clearwater).
