SHIRLEY - Ronald Jack Ashcraft, 66, of Shirley, Ark., passed away on Tuesday, December 13, 2016, at White River Medical Center in Batesville.
He was born January 19, 1950, in Pine Bluff, to Jack and Jimmie Waymack Ashcraft.
He was reared and educated in Grady, graduating from Grady High School and graduated from SEARK College.
He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era.
He had worked as a Reserve Deputy for the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department, a Paramedic and retired from the Pine Bluff Arsenal as a medic in the clinic.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include daughters, Janic Reed of Shirley, Elizabeth Morris of Michigan; sons, Ronald J. Ashcraft, Jr., of Shirley, Donnie Morris of Pine Bluff and three grandchildren.
A time of celebration will be held 2 to 4 PM, Saturday, December 17, 2016, at Ralph Robinson & Son.
Burial will be private at a later date.
