WHITE HALL - Henry Cook Henry H. Cook, 80, of White Hall, passed away Sunday, January 1, 2017, at Jefferson Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Cook was born April 7, 1936, in Pine Bluff, to the late Morris A. and Helen J. Shelby Cook.
He was a lifelong resident of Pine Bluff, where he graduated from Pine Bluff High School in 1955.
He worked for Safeway Grocery Stores, Inc. for 31 years and retired in 1986 as produce manager.
He was a member of Bethany Baptist Church.
Mr. Cook is survived by his wife of 59 years, Billie J. Cook of White Hall; son, Ric (Beth) Cook of White Hall; two daughters, Sharon (Jim) Price of Redfield and Belinda Phillips, of Mt. Dora, Fla.; five grandchildren, Anthony (Niki) Phillips, Justin Phillips, Taylor Price, Andrew (Tina) Price and Tanner Cook and fiancé, Allie Elkins; three great-grandchildren, Kylie, Josh, and Taylor Phillips; brother, Charles Craig Beasley of Eaton, Ohio.
Mr. Cook, during his spare time, enjoyed gardening, raising and flying Birmingham Roller Pigeons, beekeeping, fishing, hunting and traveling.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, January 3, 2017, 5 to 7 pm, at Robinson’s.
A graveside service will be Wednesday, January 4, 2017, 11 AM, at Bellwood Cemetery with Reverend Anthony Phillips officiating by Ralph Robinson and Son Funeral Directors.
