Le'Roy Harris was born March 30, 1959 to Essie Lee Jones and the late Zelner Harris of Pine Bluff. He confessed a hope in Christ at an early age under the leadership of Rev. Cleaveland Walker. Later he attended Prairie Lake Church and sang with The Rogers Brothers Gospel Group and his favorite song was "I'm Just a Nobody, trying to tell everybody, about somebody, that can save anybody.

He attended Pine Bluff High School and graduated in 1977. He received his CDL license and certification at Pines Vo-Tech College in Pine Bluff, Ark. He was Floor Person at Tyson Foods in Pine Bluff.

Le'Roy was preceded in death by his father Zelner Harris, his grandmother Edna Mae Smith-Haney, his grandfather Clarence Wynn, and his sister Katina Jones.

Le'Roy leaves to cherish his memory his very best friend Melanie Griffin, four daughters: Leronda Harris, Katiedra Harris, Monesha Griffin all of Pine Bluff, and Amanda (Travore) Harris-Stone of Paragould, Ark.; one step daughter: Murrisha Leon-Shaw of Pine Bluff; his mother Essie Lee Jones; three sisters: Edna(Willie) Isadore of Pine Bluff, Janice Newton- Prophet of Las Vegas, Nev., Joyce Scott of Savannah, Ga.; three brothers: Eugene (Gloria) Stocker, Jr. of North Little Rock, Gerald (Twana) Jones of Blythewood, S.C., Micheal Harris of Pine Bluff, ten grandchildren, two special nieces La'Mia Charles and Ayanna Scott, and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and family.

Visitation will be Friday, January 6 from 6:45 -7:45 at Perry Funeral Home. Services will be Saturday, January 7 at 2 pm at Smith Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Graceland Cemetery. Services entrusted to Perry Funeral Home.
