Brandy Haley, assistant professor of nursing at the University of Arkansas at Monticello, recently received her Ph.D. in nursing from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.

A member of the UAM faculty since 2012, Haley serves as a coordinator of UAM’s nursing simulation laboratory and teaches classes in nursing concepts, pathophysiology, first aid and CPR, nursing skill and supplemental nursing skills.

Haley earned a licensed practical nursing technical certificate from Pines Technical College (currently Southeast Arkansas College) at Pine Bluff, a registered nursing diploma from the Baptist School of Nursing at Little Rock, a Bachelor of Science in nursing degree and a Master of Science in nursing from Excelsior College in Albany, N.Y.
