Organizers are gearing up for the 29th annual Jefferson County Home & Garden Show at the Pine Bluff Convention Center.

“Colorful & Creative Gardening” is the theme for the show which is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, Feb. 3, and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 4. Admission is free.

Jefferson County Master Gardeners will host the show in coordination with the Pine Bluff/Jefferson County Clean & Beautiful Commission and the Jefferson County Cooperative Extension Service, according to a news release.

Featured speakers include artist, author and humorist Jane Hankins; Randy Forst, Cooperative Extension agent staff chairman of Pulaski County; and Michael Seal, “The Bromeliad Guy.”

There will be door prize drawings each day, as well as a raffle for a portable patio planter (must be present to win), and a hand-stitched “Farm Fresh Produce” quilt (need not be present to win).

More than 125 exhibitor booths will be available. The home and garden show is the annual fundraising event that supports area youth and community garden education programs, the release said.
