WHITE HALL - Louise Adams, 80, of White Hall, Ark., went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 31, 2017, at Jefferson Regional Medical Center.
She was born February 3, 1936, Clinch County, Ga., to James Leonard and Debbie Shavers Douglas.
She was reared and educated in Ga.
She was a member of New Harvest Church of God, where she had served as President of the Ladies Auxiliary. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert B. Adams, Jr., whom she married in 1951, in Pickens County, S. C.; a daughter, Debra Ann Evans; a grandson, Matthew Thomas Evans; her parents and 10 brothers and sisters.
Survivors include her sons, Jerry Adams of Cleveland, Ga., Mike Adams and his wife Kate of White Hall; a daughter, Diane Ashcraft and her husband Mark of Richmond, Ky.; son in law, Bruce Evans of White Hall; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother, James E. Douglas of Homerville, Ga. and a sister, Leitha Smith of White Hall.
Visitation will be Friday, 6 to 8 PM at Robinson’s.
Funeral services will be 11 AM, Saturday, February 4, 2017, at New Harvest Church of God with Reverend Travis Creekmore officiating.
Burial will follow at White Hall United Methodist Church Cemetery.
