The University of Arkansas at Monticello announces that March 1 is the deadline for students to apply for the Joseph F. Wallace Trust Foundation Scholarship.

Graduates of McGehee High School and people living in a 15-mile radius of McGehee may apply for the Wallace scholarship to attend any of the three UAM campuses.

The scholarship will be awarded for the 2017 fall semester. Applicants must have a minimum grade point average of 2.5 and exhibit a strong work ethic. Awards are based on merit and need, according to a news release.

Applications are available in the Office of Admissions on the first floor of Harris Hall on the Monticello campus, in the Office of Student Services at the UAM College of Technology-McGehee, and in the counselor’s office at McGehee High School.
