The Mayor’s Unity Breakfast will be held at 7 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 23, at the Pine Bluff Convention Center.

“The unity breakfast is a celebration of our diverse community and is an opportunity to learn about a variety of ways that citizens can get involved with activities and efforts to build a better Pine Bluff,” a spokeswoman said in a news release from Mayor Shirley Washington’s office.

Tickets for the unity breakfast are $10 each.

“Funds from the unity breakfast will, together with the Faith Community Coalition, focus on seven priority areas: the justice system, children and family services, health care and elder care, education reform, economic development, mental health and violence against women and girls,” the spokeswoman said.

Tickets are available by calling the mayor’s office at 870-730-2000, ext.7.
