The community is invited to a public hearing and information session regarding a proposed charter high school at Pine Bluff.


The board of directors of the proposed Southeast Arkansas Academy invites all interested parties to the meeting from 6-7:30 p.m.Tuesday, April 11, at the gym at 1501 W. 73rd Ave.


If approved, the charter high school would open in the fall of 2018 for grades 9-12. The board will submit a letter of intent on March 7 to the Arkansas Department of Education, followed by a charter application April 27.
