The Jefferson County 4-H Program will host a Healthy Living Day Camp from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, March 21.
Youth in second through fifth-grades are invited to participate in the day camp at the conference room of the Jefferson County Cooperative Extension Service, 500 Idaho St. Lunch will be provided.
The camp will include hands-on lessons taught my members of the County Teen Leader Club. This day camp is a continuing effort by the county 4-H program to provide educational activities for youth in the national 4-H mission mandate area of Healthy Living education, according to Pia Woods, county Extension agent–4-H Youth Development.
Class size is limited. The deadline to register is 4 p.m., Monday, March 20. To register a child, parents should contact Pia Woods at firstname.lastname@example.org or 534-1033.
