Police have not yet said if the two incidents were related.

Pine Bluff Police Lt. David De Foor said in a press release that officers found David Ibemesi, 30, inside a passenger vehicle in a yard at 2719 S. Cherry St. after being dispatched to the area to investigate a report of gunshots.

Ibemesi was taken to Jefferson Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 2:06 a.m. by a doctor in the emergency room.
