The Pine Bluff Christian Women’s Connection will meet at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 20, at the Pine Bluff Country Club.
Dee Vincent of Hot Springs Village will present “Looking in the Rear View Mirror,” her life story of doing just that with her Air Force husband, who was relocated several times, a spokeswoman said.
“As she reflects on her life, she will remind us all that our past should never determine our future,” the spokeswoman said.
Vincent retired as a national sales director in the auto industry. In each city where she lived, Vincent was involved in her church, including director of education and women’s ministry, Sunday school teacher and in the music department.
She was once in the backup choir for Larnell Harris. She has held positions in Stonecroft Ministries for 12 years. Vincent has two children, five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
The special feature for the luncheon will be Kathleen Pursell, program director of Arkansas Senior Medicare Patrol, a division of the Department of Human Services. Decorations will be provided by Virginia Haertlein.
The luncheon is $13.50 per person, which includes the meal, tax and gratuity. The menu will consist of meatloaf, mashed potatoes and green beans, with carrot cake for dessert. Contact Jennifer Keahey at 870-540-9302 for reservations or cancellations by noon Monday, April 17.
