Pine Bluff police are investigating a Friday afternoon shooting that left one man dead and sent two others to the hospital. Public Information Officer Roy Gober said in a news release that at approximately 5 p.m. Friday, officers were dispatched to a disturbance in the area of 21st Avenue and Beech Street. Upon arrival, they found a red, four-door passenger car occupied by three black males who had been shot.

Authorities said 31-year-old Gregory Christopher Craig was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other two men, Courtney Tripp and Lavell Reed, were transported to Jefferson Regional Medical Center. Their conditions and ages were not known at the time, Gober said in the release.

“This is still under investigation, and anyone with information about this incident should call the PBPD Detectives Division at (870)730-2090. More information will be released when it is possible,” according to the release.
