The Jefferson County 4-H program has scheduled three workshops focused on youth entrepreneurship and expressive arts. “Make It! Mondays” are open to county youth 12 to 19 year old.

Sessions will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Mondays, June 5, 12, and 19 at the Jefferson County Cooperative Extension Service, 500 Idaho St.

“Youth will explore the basics of entrepreneurship, including business plans, operating expenses, marketing and advertising, profit, and pricing. Participants will end each day with a completed project to take home,” according to a news release.

Pre-registration is required, according to the release.

“This activity is a continuing effort by the county 4-H program to provide hands-on experiences for youth in the areas of STEM, leadership, citizenship and healthy living education,” Pia Woods, county Extension agent–4-H Youth Development, said.
