LITTLE ROCK - The Arkansas Natural Resources Commission this week announced the approval of a loan in an amount up to $3,300,000 from the Arkansas Clean Water State Revolving Loan Fund or the Arkansas Drinking Water State Revolving fund to the Arkansas Department of Correction in Jefferson County, according to Commission Chairman Don Richardson. The loan repayment schedule will not exceed thirty years. The executive director will set the rate and loan terms.

“The funds will be used for an energy performance contract to undertake conservation projects involving water and maintenance,” said Mark Bennett, ANRC Water Development Division Manager.
