The Arkansas Department of Health has released the “boil water” notice issued June 7 for the connections on south Highway 365, from Gravel Pit Road to Stark Gate Road and to Highway 256/Hoadley Road and all side streets.

Jefferson-Samples-Dexter Water users in Jefferson County were under a preliminary boil order due to a main break.

Bacteriological samples taken Friday, June 9, were found to be “safe” and a satisfactory disinfectant level has been established throughout the distribution system. The water is therefore considered “safe” for human consumption and the “boil water” notice is hereby lifted.
