The Little Rock Vet Center will provide outreach services to veterans in Jefferson County through its Mobile Vet Center from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, June 28, on the parking lot of the Walmart Supercenter, 5501 S. Olive St.

“The main goal is to let veterans know we are here for them and to get the veterans connected to the right agencies to get the benefits they have earned,” a spokeswoman said in a news release.

The mission of the agency’s Readjustment Counseling Services is to provide information to veterans in far-reaching areas on the services the Little Rock Vet Center offers, according to the release.

Services include individual readjustment counseling, martial and family counseling, referrals, substance abuse information and referral, community education and liaison with community agencies.
