The Arts & Science Center for Southeast Arkansas, 701 S. Main St., will present the following events in July:

• Friday, July 7 — From 5-7 p.m., Live @5 featuring the Platinum Hitz Band will be held. Live @5 showcases live music the first Friday of each month. The cost is $5 for members and $10 for non-members. Live @5 is for participants 21 or older and the sponsors are Budweiser and MK Distributors Inc.

• Saturday, July 8 — From 1-3 p.m., the 2nd Saturday Family FunDay will feature the Art of Sculpture and the Bicycle Repair Workshop. Participants are urged to join the center for an afternoon exploring art through the medium of sculpture. Participants will create their own sculpture using craft materials. “Bring your old bike too! Using different decorative materials, staff will help you express your artsy-side by turning your old bike into a mobile piece of art,” according to a news release. The Bicycle Repair Workshop encourages the re-use and recycling of bicycles. “Bring your bicycle and learn how to keep your bike running safely and smoothly at a reasonable cost. Our staff and volunteer mechanics will be available to give advice, answer questions, and provide the tools and assistance needed to fix or repair your bicycle. The workshop will also promote bicycle safety,” according to the release. The fun day is sponsored by the Pine Bluff Area Community Foundation, a program of the Arkansas Community Foundation.

• July 26-29 — At 7:30 p.m., Willy Wonka will be performed. “Roald Dahl’s timeless story of the world-famous candy man and his quest to find an heir comes to life in this stage adaptation of Charlie and The Chocolate Factory, which features the songs from the classic family film Willy Wonka And The Chocolate Factory,” according to the release.
